JAKOBKC is an American born abstract artist compared most recently to 60’s artist Peter Max and contemporary Brazilian artist Romero Britto. Bright colors and stained glass influences are a distinct signature to JACOBKC’s artwork.
In 2017 an original hand-painted cello instrument was signed by Sir Elton John and his band, then went to auction, putting this unique artwork on the map. In 2018, an original hand-painted “guitar-body”was signed by Sir Elton John and his band. This made that art piece, at auction, very rare due to the announcement of Sir Elton’s final farewell tour.
With deep ties to the music industry the artwork of JAKOBKC has been recognized, signed and for some, collected by the following world renowned musicians: Sir Elton John, Rick Springfield, Pancho Sanchez, jazz greats John Pattitucci and Lee Rittenour to name a few. In addition a body of collectors wanting this new art is increasing.
JAKOBKC’s drumhead collection, full drum set with signatures of famous and working musicians called “The Unity Drums” travels on speaking circuits and varied platforms to spread the messages of love, unity, hope and the importance and power of music.
In several art pieces, you will notice a nod to JAKOBKC’s love for geodes, crystals and stones. This is due to a love for a very first job that entailed handwork beading on headdresses for the Metropolitan Opera.
Another unique signature appears in the descriptions for each art piece. They are written in poetry and some pieces also have a song that can be accessed through social space.
JAKOBKC continues to create, with an “Art with a Purpose” motto. In 2019 KC was commissioned to art design the temporary homeless shelter located in Anaheim California. This quick project led to multiple conversations and solutions oriented conversations regarding the homeless communities in many states across the United States. This has
